Ashley earned her B.A. in Theatre Arts and Communications from Loyola in New Orleans, 2013, where she specialized in makeup and costume design.

During her time at Loyola, she designed for numerous productions and the Loyola Opera, honing her ability to use makeup as a storytelling medium.

Her professional career includes four years with The Mortuary Haunted House in New Orleans, where she created immersive horror makeup that brought nightmares to life. She worked with N.O.R.D. Crescent City Lights Youth Theatre as well, assisting with their costume and makeup department.

Beyond the stage, Ashley’s work has appeared in independent films, multiple entries in the 48 Hour Film Festival, and music videos for both local New Orleans artists and nationally recognized names such as G-Eazy and Juvenile. She was recognized with the prestigious Alvin Award for Makeup Design at Playmakers Theatre for her work on CATS in 2010.

At the heart of her work is the belief that makeup and costume design are their own powerful languages, capable of expressing what words alone cannot. Ashley’s passion lies in using these visual tools to transform performers, deepen narratives, and transport audiences into the world of the story. She is excited to bring her talents and passion to the next generation of performers and designers through her MasterClass.
